About the role

Are you energetic, reliable and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? Join our frontline administrative team and become the welcoming first point of contact for BRHS, supporting both Main Reception operations and Emergency Department (ED) coverage.

 

These roles are primarily based at Main Reception, with responsibility to provide ED administrative support as required. While ED coverage may not form the majority of shifts, applicants must be confident, adaptable, and able to step into a fast-paced ED environment at short notice, maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism.

 

Key details

  • Ongoing and casual opportunities available
  • 8 or 9-day fortnight
  • 14-day rotating roster
  • Shifts include: 07:30–14:30 and 12:30–20:00
  • Based at Main Reception with ED coverage as required

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional, consumer-focused approach
  • Compassionate and confident communication, with strong verbal and written skills
  • Competence in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Reliable, energetic and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a busy environment
  • Ability to remain focused, responsive, and effective in high-pressure settings, including ED workflows as required
  • Positive team player who contributes to a supportive and collaborative culture
  • Self-motivated and solution-focused, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles
