The Position: Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist

 

The Contract: Part Time 48.0 hours per fortnight, Fixed Term – 18 months

 

The position:

As a member of our Health Information Services team, you will work closely with clinicians and the clinical coding team to review and improve clinical documentation. This is a great chance to step into a role that blends clinical knowledge, analytical thinking, education, and collaboration—while enjoying the work–life balance of a Monday to Friday position.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor of Nursing and AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience
  • Strong understanding of clinical documentation in acute and inpatient care.
  • Knowledge of clinical coding and Activity Based Funding (or willingness to develop)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and educate
