Electronic Medical Records Coordinator

Take on a key role supporting and enhancing Bairnsdale Regional Health Service's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Working closely with clinicians, ICT and regional stakeholders, you'll lead system improvements, coordinate upgrades and optimise digital workflows that support safer, more efficient patient care across our health service.
The Contract: Full Time | 80 hours per fortnight | Fixed Term until November 2027 (Maternity Leave Cover)
The Position:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will coordinate the ongoing support, optimisation and enhancement of the EMR system while acting as a key liaison between users, ICT teams and regional partners. This is an opportunity to influence digital health initiatives while building expertise in healthcare technology, project delivery and change management.
Key responsibilities include:
• Manage and enhance the EMR system
• Lead EMR upgrades, testing and optimisation projects
• Provide user support and training
• Partner with clinical, ICT and regional teams
• Drive continuous improvement and compliance activities
Skills & Experience required:
• EMR experience and knowledge is essential
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• High level computer literacy and systems aptitude
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Coaching and mentoring experience
