BRHS is seeking applications for Food Service Assistants to join the team at Maddocks Gardens. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic aged care environment within a supportive and collaborative team.
Maddocks Gardens is a 90-bed residential aged care facility comprising three distinct units. Food Service Assistants are valued team members who play an important role in contributing to the daily wellbeing and overall experience of residents.
Contract: Ongoing Part-Time,40 hours per fortnight. Rotating roster across 7 days, with shifts of 0700–1430 and 1530–2000
About the Role:
Based at Maddocks Gardens, you will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services to residents. Working in a busy aged care setting, you will assist with meal preparation, plating, service and cleaning while maintaining a strong focus on food safety and resident-centred care.
About You:
- Experience in food service, hospitality or a similar environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing a positive experience for residents
