The Contracts: Ongoing, Part Time, 64.0 hours per fortnight, plus 2 casual positions available.

Shifts are rostered across 7 days per week, including public holidays where required, with hours worked between 6:30am and 8:15pm. Penalty rates and allowances apply.
The Position
Food Services Assistants are multi‑skilled team members who support all facets of food service delivery across BRHS. Duties may include working in patient wards, assisting with sandwich making and food preparation, supporting the barista café, providing service in the staff and public dining room, and undertaking kitchen hand and cleaning duties. You will work collaboratively as part of a busy team to deliver a high‑quality, safe and friendly food service to patients, staff, visitors and volunteers.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in hospitality, retail or food service (preferred but not essential), with a strong customer service focus and professional communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, managing time pressures, priorities and service demands
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, particularly when following food safety procedures and dietary requirements
- A positive, team‑focused attitude with a willingness to learn, accept feedback and contribute to a supportive workplace
