An exciting opportunity has become available for recent Radiography graduates to join our Medical Imaging team.

Contract: Ongoing, Full-time contract – 80.0 hrs per fortnight with monthly Accrued Day Off (ADO)

 

The position:

This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern and dynamic department boasting the latest state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment.  In conjunction with the wider medical imaging team, you will provide high quality medical imaging services to hospital inpatients, outpatients and referring practitioners.  As a member of this skilled and professional team you will be encouraged and supported to participate in continuous professional development programs to further consolidate your skills

 

The department:

The BRHS Medical Imaging department offers a comprehensive range of medical imaging services spread across 2 campuses including: MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, digital X-ray, BMD and OPG. A full range of interventional and fluoroscopic procedures are undertaken within the department with our service also being complimented by the expertise of visiting Radiologists.

Key criteria required:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent
  • AHPRA Registration as a Radiographer & Department of Health Radiation Use Licence
  • Membership with ASMIRT & current enrolment in a CPD program
  • A good level of knowledge of current Medical Imaging practices with experience using a range of Medical Imaging equipment
