Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) is seeking enthusiastic and caring Health Care Workers to join our Residential Aged Care team at Maddocks Gardens.

We have 120 hours available in total, to be distributed across two positions. Contracts are anticipated to sit between 48–72 hours per fortnight, however we are open to discussing different arrangements to suit both service needs and individual availability.

The Contracts: Ongoing, Part Time contracts available. Please indicate preferred hours in your application*.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide compassionate, person‑centred care to our residents, supporting their daily living needs while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. You will work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high‑quality aged care services.

Availability to work across 7 days per week, including a variety of shifts, is required.

About You

• Certificate 3 in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent) is preferred
• Proven ability to provide a high level of person-centred care in a proactive manner
• Empathy and compassion for the elderly with a willingness and ability to advocate for their best interests
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with a wide range of people, including co-workers, health professionals, residents and family members
