The Contract: Ongoing, Part Time, 40 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday position, current shift times are 9.00am-4.30pm.

 

The Position:

As a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant at BRHS you will work with Diversional Therapists and the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, to plan and deliver an engaging and dynamic lifestyle program for the Maddocks Gardens Community. In this rewarding position you will provide social, spiritual, cultural and psychological support to meet our residents needs and maintain and enhance their quality of life.

What you need:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or willingness to obtain
  • Well developed and effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated interest and knowledge to provide valuable and appropriate individual and group activities
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively as part of a cohesive, supportive and collaborative team
  • Passion and commitment for aged care with the capacity to advocate for the best interests of residents
