Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) is seeking an experienced and inspiring Medical Imaging professional to lead our Medical Imaging Department and drive excellence in service delivery, innovation, workforce development and clinical governance. The Contract:  Grade 5 | Ongoing Full-Time | 80.0 hours per fortnight with Accrued Day Off (ADO)

As the Medical Imaging Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of Medical Imaging at BRHS. This is a unique opportunity to lead a progressive and expanding service, driving innovation, operational excellence and strategic growth across a modern, technology-enabled department. To be successful in this position you will influence service development, guide investment in emerging technologies and help position BRHS as a leading regional provider of diagnostic imaging services.

Key criteria required:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging with current registration and substantial post graduate experience.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor, lead and inspire a high-functioning team.
  • Strong operational, financial and business management capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with a commitment to quality, innovation and patient-centred care.
