We're seeking an accomplished perioperative leader to guide a skilled multidisciplinary team, champion excellence in patient care and shape the ongoing growth of Surgical Services. The Contract: Ongoing, Full Time | 80 hours per fortnight
The Position:
As the Perioperative Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership across the Operating Suite, Day Procedure Unit and Central Sterile Services Department. Leading a highly skilled team of nurses and technicians, you will drive exceptional patient-centred care, workforce engagement, service innovation and operational excellence while contributing to the strategic direction of Surgical Services. This is a rare opportunity to influence healthcare delivery, build team capability and make a lasting impact on patient outcomes across East Gippsland.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate:
- Current AHPRA registration with a postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing.
- Significant perioperative nursing experience, including experience in a senior leadership or management role.
- Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire multidisciplinary teams while driving service improvement and clinical excellence.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary perioperative practice, clinical governance, quality improvement and workforce management.
