Physiotherapist - Grade 1 or 2 - Pain Management Clinic

                                               

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist to be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team delivering specialised services within BRHS Pain Management Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a valuable service making a difference to our community.

 

The Contract: Ongoing, Part time 16.0 hours per fortnight

 

The Position:

Working within an interdisciplinary team, you will provide individual assessments and deliver evidence-based pain management strategies through individual and group programs. Using a biopsychosocial approach, you will empower clients through exercise, pain neuroscience education, cognitive behavioural strategies, mindfulness, pacing and goal setting. You will also contribute to case conferencing, discharge planning and collaborative care with referring General Practitioners.

What you need:

  • Minimum 12 months clinical experience within a healthcare setting
  • Undergraduate Physiotherapy degree with current AHPRA registration as Physiotherapist
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice in relation to the management of patients with persistent pain
  • An ability to comprehensively and independently assess and treat patients with persistent pain
