The Contract: Ongoing Part Time | 16 hours per fortnight

 

The Position:

Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you will provide specialised assessment, formulation and evidence-based psychological interventions for people living with chronic pain.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the health and wellbeing of clients across East Gippsland while contributing an established and highly valued Pain Management Service. Flexible work arrangements, including telehealth, may be considered for the right candidate.

 

The ideal applicant will demonstrate:

  • Postgraduate Psychology qualification with current AHPRA registration and endorsement as a Registered Psychologist.
  • Psychologists with 5+ years' relevant experience may be considered at Grade 3 level. Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Grade 2 position.
  • Interest in chronic pain management and evidence-based psychological practice.
  • Ability to assess, formulate and deliver client-centred care for people with persistent pain.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
