Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) invites applications for an ongoing, full‑time Porter (Hospital Attendant) to join our Environmental Services team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking secure, regular hours and the chance to play a vital role supporting patient care within a friendly and well‑established hospital workforce.

 

The Contract: Ongoing, Full Time, 80 hours per fortnight.

Shift times are 08.00am - 4.30pm or 9.30am - 6.00pm, as rostered over 7 days. 

 

About the Role

As a Porter, you will play an important role in supporting patient care by:

  • Transporting patients, equipment and documentation throughout the hospital
  • Assisting with ward and emergency department support tasks
  • Performing cleaning and infection control duties as required
  • Working professionally and respectfully with patients, visitors and staff
