Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) is seeking an experienced and strategic Quality Manager to join our Quality & Education Division in this newly created leadership role.
Reporting to the Operational Director – Quality, Experience & Safety, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening quality, safety and clinical governance systems across the organisation. This is a rewarding opportunity to shape the future of quality and patient safety at BRHS.
The Contract: Ongoing, Full Time, 80.0 hours per fortnight
The Position:
The Quality Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across the organisation to embed a strong culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement. You will:
- Lead organisation-wide quality, safety and clinical governance systems
- Drive continuous improvement, risk management and accreditation readiness
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to embed best practice
- Oversee incident management, audit, policy governance and reporting
- Champion consumer engagement and ensure the voice of patients informs care
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across quality, audit, IPC and consumer experience

What You’ll Bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in health, nursing, allied health or similar
- Significant experience in quality, safety and clinical governance leadership
- Strong knowledge of accreditation standards, risk management and improvement frameworks
- Proven ability to influence, lead teams and embed a positive safety culture
- Highly developed analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
