Bairnsdale Regional Health Service is seeking Registered Nurses who are interested in developing specialist skills in Dialysis Nursing. Whether you have previous haemodialysis experience or are looking to transition into this specialty area, this is an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical expertise within a supportive and experienced team. Full training will be provided for suitable applicants

The Contracts:

• Ongoing, Part Time – 16 hours per fortnight
• Fixed Term, Part Time – 32 hours per fortnight until 23 January 2027

The Position:

Join our modern nine-chair Dialysis Unit and develop specialist renal nursing skills while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to people living with chronic kidney disease. Working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team, you'll build meaningful and lasting relationships with patients and their families, helping to improve quality of life through ongoing, specialised care. As part of a service that supports both in-centre and home dialysis patients across East Gippsland, you'll enjoy a unique opportunity to combine clinical challenge with genuine patient connection in a highly rewarding specialty area.

The ideal applicant will demonstrate:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven ability to recognize the deteriorating patient and escalate care.
• Understanding of needs of people with chronic disease, both for the individual and those that care for the person.
• Sound understanding of and demonstrated competence in infection prevention.
• Haemodialysis experience and/or postgraduate renal nursing studies is desirable, however full training will be provided.
