Multiple full time and part time Registered Nurse opportunities are available for experienced nurses passionate about caring for women, children and families in a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

 

The Contract: Multiple Fixed-Term Opportunities | Up to 6 Months | Full Time or Part Time

 

About the Ward

The Women's & Children's Ward provides acute women's, paediatric and maternity care within a supportive multidisciplinary team. As a Baby Friendly accredited health service, BRHS is committed to evidence-based maternity care and supporting nursing and midwifery students at all stages of learning.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based care to women, children and families across acute, paediatric and maternity services.
  • Assess, plan and deliver care while responding confidently to changing patient needs.
  • Collaborate with experienced nursing, midwifery, medical and allied health teams to achieve excellent outcomes.
  • Support seamless patient journeys with effective communication, handover and discharge planning.
  • Contribute to student development, quality improvement and professional nursing practice.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years recent acute nursing experience
  • Graduate year completed or equivalent experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • BLS certification required; ALS and postgraduate studies advantageous
