Join Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) and work across a broad range of examinations in a modern Medical Imaging department, supported by experienced radiologists and a collaborative team. Opportunities are available at both Grade 3 and Grade 4 level, with full-time and part-time options available.
The Contract: Ongoing | Full-Time, 80-hour fortnight with accrued ADO (Part-time considered).
Salary:
- Grade 3: $104,135 - $118,981 pro rata + super + salary packaging
- Grade 4: $126,079 - $138,928 pro rata+ super + salary packaging
The Opportunity
As a Sonographer at BRHS, you'll perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations within a busy and modern regional service. Working closely with radiologists, clinicians and fellow imaging professionals, you'll enjoy the variety and autonomy of a true generalist role while contributing to excellent patient outcomes. Grade 4 Sonographers will also have opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to service development.

What You Bring:
- ASAR registration and eligibility for ASA membership.
- Qualifications in ultrasound +/- radiography.
- Experience performing a broad range of ultrasound examinations
- Strong patient-centred communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Grade 4 applicants will demonstrate advanced sonography experience and the ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring.
