The Contract: Ongoing, Full Time, 80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO.
Flexible arrangements, including job share opportunities, will be considered for the right candidate.
The Position:
An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified and experienced Grade 2 Social Worker to join the Allied Health team. Working across a diverse range of clinical areas, you will provide high-quality social work services that support improved health outcomes for patients and families. You will deliver impactful services including crisis support, psychosocial assessments, loss and grief counselling, advocacy, child protection and discharge planning.
This role offers a rewarding and varied caseload, working closely with a highly supportive multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, professional growth and person-centred care.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate:
- A recognised Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Social Work.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in social work, preferably within a health or hospital setting.
- Strong skills in psychosocial assessment, counselling, crisis intervention and discharge planning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
