Exciting newly structured job share opportunity!
BRHS is offering a unique opportunity to step into a redesigned job share model, providing greater flexibility while maintaining strong clinical leadership across the Surgical Services Access Unit. We are seeking two experienced Registered Nurses to share this key leadership role, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centred surgical access and preadmission services.
The Contract: Ongoing, Part Time - 2 Job Share Roles. 92 hours per fortnight total | Weekdays only
The Role:
In this position, you will provide clinical leadership and coordination within the Surgical Services Access Unit, supporting:
- Management of the planned surgery waiting list
- Coordination of the Pre-Admission Clinic
- Patient-centred surgical preparation and optimisation
- Effective multidisciplinary collaboration and communication
Working in a job share arrangement, you will partner closely with your co-coordinator to ensure continuity, efficiency, and strong team leadership.

About You:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience, including recent surgical/perioperative experience
- Strong clinical leadership and coordination skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a job share partnership
- Commitment to patient-centred care and service improvement
