Support our patients and community as Volunteer Administration Support Officer at BRHS!

 

Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) is seeking an organised and people‑focused administrator to join our Workforce team in the newly created role of Volunteer Administration Support Officer. This is a great opportunity to contribute behind the scenes to volunteer programs that play a critical role in supporting our patients and community. Flexible hours available, with shifts that can be tailored to your availability.

 

The Contract: Ongoing, Part Time, 40 hours per fortnight. 

 

The Role

Reporting to the Volunteer Coordinator, the Volunteer Administration Support Officer provides administrative, scheduling and communication support to ensure the smooth operation of volunteer‑supported transport and social support services. The role involves coordinating bookings and schedules, maintaining accurate records and databases, supporting volunteer compliance and training activities, and liaising with volunteers, clients and staff to ensure services run efficiently and in line with funding and organisational requirements.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • At least two years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to prioritise, work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience in volunteer coordination, community services or health (advantageous)
