Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for an Office Coordinator to join our growing team on an ongoing part-time basis at our Bairnsdale Office.
About the Role
We are seeking an Administration Assistant / Office Co-ordinator to provide high-quality clerical, reception and data support for our Bairnsdale Community Mental Health Service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys variety, and values teamwork, professionalism and service excellence.
In this important role, you will support the Mental Health Team by delivering a wide range of administrative functions, including:
- Processing CMI data (registrations, discharges, contacts, reports and more)
- Maintaining accurate client lists and medical records
- Preparing documents for scanning into the Electronic Medical Record
- Providing front-of-house reception support
- Monitoring stores, managing petty cash and reconciling expenses
- Coordinating outpatient clinics and maintaining duress alarm testing records
- Managing car bookings, maintenance and fleet data in Smartfleet
- Providing general clerical assistance to support clinical teams across Infant, Child & Youth, Adult and Older Adult services
You will also actively contribute to LRH’s commitment to high-quality care, continuous improvement, safety, and alignment with LRH values and policies.

About You
You will bring a professional, organised and team-focused approach, along with:
Essential:
- Experience providing administrative or clerical support in a health, community or educational setting
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet/Email)
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage competing demands
- Current driver’s licence
Desirable:
- Qualifications in Office Administration or similar
- Experience working in a mental health service
- Personal attributes such as adaptability, compassion, empathy and respect
