We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Mental Health Clinician (0–25 years) to join our Community Mental Health Services team. In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership, direction and support to the multi-disciplinary team staff undertaking specialist mental health care role.

 

The Senior Mental Health Clinician will undertake a full range of clinical duties including the provision of recovery orientated, undertaking comprehensive assessments, care coordination, evidence-based treatment, psycho-education and consumer and family collaboration.

 

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and current registration as a Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Speech Pathologist.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in mental health, or in working with children and young people.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, crisis management and care planning.
  • An ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A commitment to recovery-focused, family-inclusive and culturally safe practice.
  • Current driver’s licence.
