About the role

This innovative and exciting role involves the initiation and coordination of various projects relevant to Aboriginal health and employment services, including Latrobe Regional Health’s Aboriginal Employment Plan and its implementation. The provision of administrative and team support tasks for LRH’s Aboriginal Health Unit is a key component of this role.
Successful candidates will help strengthen relationships, support the provision of culturally safe health and employment services, and facilitate more effective policy and program development.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- An awareness of cultural safety considerations, including cultural determinants of health relevant to LRH services
- Superior customer service, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced computer literacy, using various software tools for efficient task management. Includes Microsoft Office applications and Teams
- Superior time management skills, meeting deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in data collection, analysis and reporting
- Experience working in a health care environment / Aboriginal Health setting, whilst not essential, is desirable
