Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Administration Coordinator to join our growing team on an ongoing part-time basis.
Are you an experienced administration professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting mental health services? Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking an Administration Coordinator to lead and coordinate administrative services across Latrobe Valley Community Mental Health Services.
This is a key leadership role, providing high-level coordination, reporting and workforce support while fostering a recovery-oriented, patient-centred approach within the administration team.
About the Role
The Administration Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination and leadership of the administrative workforce, ensuring high-quality support to mental health programs and the delivery of timely, accurate service and data reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and developing administrative services to meet organisational priorities
- Providing high-level administrative support to clinicians and managers, including meeting coordination and reporting
- Leading, supervising and supporting administration staff, including performance management and workflow coordination
- Producing staff rosters to ensure service coverage across the LV site
- Coordinating recruitment, inductions and training for administration staff
- Supporting annual performance appraisals in collaboration with the AOA Manager
- Coordinating timely, high-level reporting for the LV site
- Ensuring accurate, compliant and confidential data entry and record management
- Acting as the key liaison for Facilities and IT, including building maintenance and IT support
- Managing office supplies, equipment orders and service contracts
- Coordinating logistics for clinicians, including vehicle bookings and equipment distribution
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About you
You are a proactive and organised leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a collaborative, compassionate approach to your work. You demonstrate integrity, strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork, while supporting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Essential requirements:
- Formal qualification in Administration or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior administrative or management role
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff and build effective teams
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
Desirable:
- Experience working in a mental health or health service environment
- Demonstrated ability to introduce and manage change
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
