Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Administration Team Leader to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
The Administration Team Leader provides high-quality administrative leadership and day-to-day operational support to the Radiation Oncology administration team. This role oversees staff supervision, workload coordination, patient administration processes, and efficient office operations to ensure smooth service delivery for oncology patients. The position works closely with the Radiation Oncology Deputy Operations Manager and supports alignment with Alfred Health Processes while upholding LRH values and service standards.

The role of the Administration Team Leader is to:
- Lead, supervise and support the Radiation Oncology administration team, including rostering, performance management, recruitment and staff training.
- Oversee patient registration and referral management in ARA and CAS, including following up on rejected referrals.
- Coordinate patient bookings for consultations and ensure required imaging, pathology or documentation is available.
- Manage administrative operations such as meetings, agendas, minutes, billing processes, accommodation bookings, and reception support.
- Maintain and update administrative policies, procedures, patient documents and operational systems in collaboration with Alfred Health Radiation Oncology.
- Ensure resources, supplies, room bookings and departmental logistics are well-managed, while supporting continuous improvement and safe, high-quality patient care.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, strong communication skills and a respectful, customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of staff and foster a positive team environment.
- You are adaptable, organised and able to manage competing priorities with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and experience in supervising or supporting a small administrative team.
- You possess advanced computer skills and can learn medical terminology or new systems quickly.
- Ability to maintain high personal presentation, demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, and deliver excellent customer service.
