Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Allied Health Assistant to join our growing team on a full-time ongoing basis.
Join our Allied Health team as an Allied Health Assistant (Grade 2) and play a vital role in delivering client-focused therapy support services. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll assist in providing high-quality care across a range of therapeutic programs, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery that meets established standards of excellence.

The role of the Allied Health Assistant (Grade 2) is:
- Deliver therapy support services under supervision of Allied Health Professionals, in both individual and group settings.
- Adhere to prescribed programs and accurately document client progress in line with organisational requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to support desired outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, including policy development and service evaluation.
- Maintain administrative duties such as patient records and departmental upkeep.
- Support education and orientation of Allied Health Assistants and students, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (mandatory) and/or Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (desirable).
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to delivery client-centred care.
- Familiarity with computer systems and documentation requirements.
- Demonstrated committed to professional development and continuous improvement.
