Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for Allied Health Educator Prosthetics & Orthotics to join our growing team on a part-time (24 hours per fortnight) fixed term basis for 12 months.

The role of the Allied Health Educator Prosthetics & Orthotics is:
- Facilitate high-quality student clinical placement programs in line the Best Practice Clinical Learning Environment (BPCLE) framework.
- Provide education, supervision and professional support to undergraduate, postgraduate, and graduate learners.
- Develop and deliver education plans, workshops and learning activities to meet the need of Prosthetics & Orthotics clinical staff.
- Collaborate with managers and clinicians to strengthen capacity of student placement and workforce development.
- Promote evidence-based practice through quality improvement, evaluation, and professional development initiatives.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics or equivalent and eligibility for membership with the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in education or clinical education.
- Strong clinical expertise in Prosthetics & Orthotics, with the ability to lead, mentor and support learners and staff.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement.
- At least 7 years demonstrated clinical and leadership experience with postgraduate qualifications or training in education/clinical education.
