Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Application Support Officer at Gippsland Health Alliance (GHA). Gippsland Health Alliance is a consortium of all publicly funded health services in the Gippsland region. We are committed to delivering high-quality and safe patient care through innovative projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This position is on an ongoing, full-time basis.
Our Application Support Officer will provide day-to-day support for the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) environment and other clinical and business systems. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including vendors and regional partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administration, end-user support, training, and education across Gippsland Health Alliance applications.
- Respond to incidents and service requests, log and track problems, and engage with service providers to ensure effective resolution.
- Support application patching, upgrades, testing, and modifications to maintain system reliability and functionality.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop change/enhancement plans, and support implementation activities.
- Develop and deliver training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing resources to empower users and enhance service outcomes.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Completed education to a Year 12 level.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- ITIL certification is desirable.
- Prior experience in a health environment is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in a complex and diverse organisation.
- Demonstrated experience of working as part of a team to deliver change.
- Vision, loyalty, perseverance, passion and integrity.
