Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Application Support Officer to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Application Support Officer to provide administration, operational support and implementation assistance for the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and other clinical and business systems. This role is responsible for maintaining the daily operational health of supported systems, resolving issues and service requests, coordinating application enhancements, supporting systems upgrades, and assisting users across the health services.

The role of the Application Support Officer is to:
- Provide day-to-day application administration including resolving incidents, responding to service requests and maintaining accurate issues logs.
- Support system enhancement, application patching, upgrades and modifications, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Deliver training, on-site support and user education, including developing training materials and documentation.
- Gather requirements, analyse options, and support implementation and change management plans to driver continuous improvements.
- Assist with application testing, troubleshooting, issue escalation and customer follow-up to ensure satisfaction with outcomes.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, service providers and partner agencies across the GHA region.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Completion education to Year 12 and a current driver’s licence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a complex, diverse organisation.
- Experience working as part of a team to deliver change in a health service or similar environment.
- Understanding of hospital and clinical processes and how information systems support service delivery.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, problem-solve and meet deadlines.
- Experience in support EMR/ICT systems, ITIL certification, qualifications in IT or programming, and experience with health data standards.
