Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health have a Fixed Term opportunity for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Parent and Infant Unit on a part time 64 hours per fortnight basis from July 2025 to November 2025.
The Parent and Infant Unit at Latrobe Regional Health is a 5 bed, 5-6 cot residential unit open for families in the Gippsland region. Mothers and/or fathers will be admitted with infants up to 12 months of age. The model of care of the unit will have strong family/ infant relationships focus. The therapeutic approach will be based on the Solihul model, attachment theory and mentalisation.
About you
· Division 3 Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse with post basic qualification in psychiatric nursing holding registration with AHPRA, or
· Registered Nurse with post basic qualification in midwifery and/or paediatrics and a commitment to complete post basic psychiatric qualification
· Working with Children Check
· Demonstrated recent experience working with parents and infants in the perinatal period
· Sound knowledge of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 and other relevant legislation
· Working knowledge of NSQHS standards for Mental Health Services
· Sound knowledge of perinatal mental health issues
