Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Clerical Services Officer (Multiple Positions Available) to join our growing team on a Part-Time On-Going Basis 0.5 FTE.
We are seeking a flexible and customer-focused Clerical Services Officer (Pool) to provide administrative and reception support across a variety of clinical and non-clinical areas. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will play an important role in supporting patient-centred care through accurate data entry, patient administration, reception services, and clerical support. This role offers variety, with opportunities to work across multiple departments including acute, sub-acute, emergency and mental health services.

The role of the Clerical Services Officer (Pool) is to:
- Provide high-quality clerical, reception, and administrative support, ensuring excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Accurately process patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and related data in accordance with organisational procedures.
- Manage phone enquiries, reception activities, mail distribution, filing, and document management in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate patient records and enter daily statistics and activity data using relevant hospital systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Work flexibly across a range of departments and rostered shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and after-hours coverage as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a collaborative team environment while maintaining compliance with organisational policies and confidentiality requirements.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Experienced in administration, customer service, or clerical support, ideally within a healthcare or fast-paced service environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, friendly, and welcoming approach
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable using computer systems and technology, including Microsoft Office and patient administration systems.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative and working independently when required.
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting high-quality patient care.
