Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Clinical Educator - Psychology to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) 12-month Fixed Term basis (Parental leave Coverage).
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Educator – Psychology to provide leadership, supervision, and professional development opportunities for psychologists across Latrobe Regional Health. This senior education role is responsible for strengthening workforce capability through the delivery of high-quality clinical education, supervision, and training programs, while supporting psychology students, registrars, and multidisciplinary staff. You will play a key role in fostering clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and continuous professional growth across mental health and broader health services.

The role of the Clinical Educator Psychology is to:
- Lead the development, coordination, and delivery of clinical education, supervision, and professional development programs for psychologists, psychology registrars, and students.
- Provide expert clinical supervision, mentoring, and guidance to support professional growth, evidence-based practice, and workforce capability.
- Coordinate psychology student placements, registrar training pathways, and partnerships with universities and external education providers.
- Plan and deliver psychological education programs for multidisciplinary clinicians, peer workers, carers, families, community agencies, schools, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, policy implementation, and compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and best-practice frameworks.
- Support a culture of continuous learning, professional excellence, innovation, and service improvement across psychology and mental health services.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Fully registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Extensive clinical experience with more than 10 years of post-registration practice and demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and evidence-based therapies.
- Proven experience in clinical education, supervision, mentoring, and workforce development for psychologists, registrars, students, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence practice, support professional growth, and drive continuous quality improvement.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across healthcare, education, and community settings.
- Passionate about developing others, advancing contemporary psychological practice, and contributing to high-quality mental health and healthcare outcomes.
