Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Pharmacist (Grade 2) to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) fixed term basis for 12 months.

 

This role provides high-quality pharmacy services across the health service, including dispensary operations, clinical pharmacy services, and supervision of Pharmacy Technicians, Interns and Students. The role contributes to service development, supports accreditation activities, and promotes safe, effective and patient-centre care in alignment with LRH values and standards.

The role of the Pharmacist (Grade 2) is to:

  • Deliver dispensary services and assist with coordinating daily dispensary operations.
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to support safe and effective medication management across the health service.
  • Contribute to planning and development of new pharmacy program and services where appropriate.
  • Participate in accreditation processes and support ongoing compliance with national standards.
  • Engage in the education, supervision and development of pharmacy interns, technicians, students and other staff.
  • Deliver medication-related education and information to groups as required.

 

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Demonstrates integrity, strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and relate effectively to clients and colleagues at all levels across the health service.
  • You are adaptable, respectful and able to operate effectively in a changing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • You are able to manage time well, maintain professional presentation and show a strong willingness to learn and develop.
  • Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent and with current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
