Are you a registered nurse with a passion for research and innovation in healthcare? An exciting opportunity exists at Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) for a Clinical Trial Coordinator (Nurse) to join our Research and Clinical Trials Unit on a fulltime fixed term basis for a 12-month period. About the role

As a Clinical Trial Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-quality clinical trials. This includes:

  • Coordinating and supporting the conduct of clinical trials from initiation to close-out, including patient screening, consent, and follow-up.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely trial documentation, data entry and reporting in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with sponsors, investigators, healthcare providers and patients to ensure effective communication and seamless trial execution.
  • Contributing to trial governance activities, including ethics submissions, safety reporting, and compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Educating and supporting patients, families, and staff throughout the research process to ensure understanding and informed participation.

 

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated experience or interest in clinical trials or research coordination.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment. 
  • Experience in clinical research or clinical trials (desirable)
