Latrobe Regional Health is seeking an experienced and Mental Health Clinician to join the Community Mental Health Services team on a full-time, fixed Term Contract for 12 months.

 

The Mental Health Clinician (0-25 years), will work within the multidisciplinary team undertaking a full range of clinical duties and supporting consumers during their patient journey in acute episodes within recovery and treatment. The clinician will utilise skill sets within their scope of practice and use these in supporting consumers, carers and supporters of mental health with the area mental health service.

 

 

About you

 

 

  • Current Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Registered Psychiatric    
               Nurse registration with AHPRA; for Social Work, eligibility for membership of
               AASW
  • Clinical experience working with children and their family.
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

 

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Registered Nurse Division 1*
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy, with current registration with AHPRA or
  • Appropriate post graduate qualification in Psychology, with current registration with AHPRA or
  • Degree or Diploma in Social Work, with eligibility or other qualification acceptable for membership to AASW or
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology, or equivalent, with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia. Experience in the provision of Speech Pathology clinical services (* Indicates with a formal post-Graduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing)
  • Current driver's licence
