LRH are recruiting for a key leadership role as The Divisional Director of Surgical & Perioperative Services. On a full time ongoing capacity. This role provides operational and strategic leadership to the Division whilst working in partnership with the LRH Executive and General Managers to ensure the delivery of contemporary multidisciplinary models of care and to oversee improvements in the clinical governance systems to support care provision.

This will also involve leading service developments and quality and efficiency improvements aligned to the achievement of priority outcomes and the delivery of key performance indicators and deliverables.

 

About you

 

Qualifications and requirements

 

  • MBBS or equivalent essential.
  • Fellowship with the RANZCOG or RACP.
  • Management experience of a clinical service.
  • Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a medical specialist with leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated management ability in clinical program development.
  • Ability to communicate with patients and their carers with respect and empathy.
  • Professional and personal integrity.
  • Flexible and adaptable with organisational change, program needs and requirements.
