Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Executive Assistant to join our growing team part time (0.8EFT) fixed basis until January 2027 (Parental Leave Coverage).

 

The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the relevant Director and, as part of a small, ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the Executive Office. This role involves managing correspondence, coordinating meetings, maintaining corporate standards, and supporting committee functions, while upholding LRH’s values and strategic priorities.

The role of Executive Assistant is:

  • Coordinate meetings and activities for the relevant Director and ensure efficient office operations.
  • Liaise with Executive members and administrative staff to maintain effective communication.
  • Manage routine correspondence, draft responses, ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide committee support, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action follow ups.
  • Maintain filling systems and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  • Handle medico-legal and Freedom of Information requests appropriately.
  • Support reception functions within the Executive Suite and ensure complaints are referred correctly.

 

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior secretarial or executive support role.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office and word processing.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively.
  • High level of integrity, adaptability, and commitment to customer-focused service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism in a dynamic environment.
