Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Fundraising Manager to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis.
The Fundraising Manager leads fundraising and philanthropy function, driving sustainable income growth, revenue diversification and strong donor relationships in line with the organisation’s fundraising strategy. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the role oversees a best-practice fundraising program spanning appeals, regular giving, major and mid-value donors, trust and foundations, bequests, community fundraising, corporate support and the LRH Community Op Shop. Working closely with the Engagement Manager, this position ensures donor engagement, storytelling and stewardship activities support long-term retention and growth, while providing strategic oversight to deliver untied income that support LRH’s priorities and services.

The role of the Fundraising Manager is to:
- Lead the implementation of the LRH Fundraising Strategy and annual fundraising plans, monitoring performance and reporting outcomes, risks and opportunities to the Executive and Board.
- Provide strategic leadership across all fundraising streams, including appeals, regular giving, major and mid-value donors, trusts and foundations, bequests, community and corporate fundraising.
- Build a strong donor-centred culture by overseeing donor journeys, stewardship and engagement, and collaborating with internal teams to align storytelling and acknowledgement with fundraising priorities.
- Develop and grow grants, trusts and bequests programs, including funding pipeline management, application processes, external relationships and long-term legacy strategies.
- Provide strategic and commercial oversight of the LRH Community Op Shop to ensure sustainable untied income, effective resourcing, volunteer coordination and risk management.
- Ensure effective use of CRM systems and fundraising platforms, maintaining data quality, reporting accuracy, compliance and using insights to guide segmentation, campaigns and investment decisions.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- A relevant qualification in fundraising, philanthropy, marketing, communications, business or related discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience delivering fundraising outcomes in complex organisations.
- Proven experience leading fundraising activity across multiple income streams, with a track record of sustainable income growth and donor retention.
- Strong leadership capability with experience motivating and supporting teams or contributors to achieve fundraising and engagement objectives.
- High-level written and verbal communication and experience using CRM or donor management systems to support donor relationships and reporting.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, adaptability, empathy and respect with a donor-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
