Latrobe Regional Health is looking for GHA Change & Communications Officer to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) 12 Month Fixed term period.

We are seeking a proactive and creative GHA Change & Communications Officer to support the successful delivery of change initiatives across the Gippsland Health Alliance (GHA). Working closely with the GHA Change Manager and project teams, you will play a key role in driving stakeholder engagement, communication, change readiness, and adoption activities across a range of digital and organisational transformation projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex information into clear, engaging communications and supporting positive change outcomes across a diverse healthcare environment.

The role of the Change & Communications Officer is to:

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver clear, engaging, and audience-focused communications that support change initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate complex project, system, and process information into accessible communication materials, presentations, updates, and stakeholder resources.
• Support stakeholder engagement activities by coordinating information sessions, gathering feedback, and assisting with communication and adoption strategies.
• Assist the GHA Change Manager with change management activities, including readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and implementation support.
• Monitor stakeholder feedback, communication effectiveness, and emerging change-related risks, escalating issues and providing insights to inform project decision-making.
• Maintain communication schedules, stakeholder records, project documentation, and reporting processes while supporting broader project administration activities as required.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• Qualifications in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Change Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in organisational communications, stakeholder engagement, or change management within a complex environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for a broad range of audiences.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Skilled at building effective relationships and working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
• Experience in healthcare, government, digital transformation, or technology-enabled change projects will be highly regarded.
