Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is currently seeking a dedicated General Medicine Physician to join the Medical Services team on a part-time, ongoing basis.

The key responsibilities of the General Medicine Physician is to provide high quality clinical care to the patients of Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) services, to supervise and train junior medical staff and support Latrobe Reginal Health’s Strategic Priorities.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• MBBS or equivalent essential.
• Eligible registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia.
• Fellowship of the RACP in General Medicine or equivalent.
• Additional Postgraduate education in Public Health, Research or Management (desirable).

Medical and radiation oncology are offered by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre.

Now is an exciting time to join the LRH team, with the $223.5 million expansion completed in March 2024, offering improved maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increased medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.
