Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Implementation Manager to join our growing team on a part time (0.8EFT) fixed term basis until March 2028.
The Implementation Manager is a senior leadership role within the Gippsland Regional Integrated Cancer Service (GRICS), responsible for driving the delivery of the Gippsland Regional Cancer Plan. The role provides strategic oversight of multiple cancer service improvement programs and projects, establishing robust governance frameworks, managing risks, monitoring performance, and ensure delivery agreed outcomes. Working collaboratively with GRICS, Gippsland health services, the Department of Health, and broader system partners, the role plays a critical part in implementing Victorian Cancer Plan priorities and improving access to high-quality, coordinated cancer care across Gippsland.

The role of the Implementation Manager is to:
- Lead and coordinate programs and projects aligned to the Gippsland Regional Cancer Plan, ensuring delivery of agreed priorities, milestones and outcomes.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks to monitor implementation progress, manage risks, evaluate outcomes and ensure accurate, timely reporting within GRICS and regional governance structures.
- Provide leadership and operational oversight to program areas, supporting project monitoring, stakeholder engagement, evaluation and evidence-based decision making.
- Source, analyse and present data and benchmarking information to identify service gaps, inform improvement opportunities and guide regional cancer service planning.
- Support team leadership by providing service-level advice and, at times, operational management of GRICS functions to ensure successful delivery of cancer service improvement initiatives.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- A tertiary qualification (or higher) in a health-related discipline, with demonstrated knowledge and experience in oncology and cancer service delivery.
- Proven experience in project and program management, including developing strategies, managing risks, monitoring performance and delivering large, complex initiatives.
- Significant leadership and operational management experience, with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead teams and support system-wide change.
- Strong analytical, organisational and planning skills, with experience using data to inform service improvement and policy implementation.
