Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Infant, Child & Youth Manager to join our growing team on a full-time (1.0EFT) ongoing basis based at Latrobe Valley Community Mental Health Site.
The Infant, Child & Youth Manager will lead the delivery of mental health services for children and young people aged 0-25 across the Latrobe Valley. This leadership role oversees multiple specialised programs including GASDAC, CASEA, HYDDDI and Early Psychosis, ensuring high-quality, trauma informed, and culturally sensitive care. The ICY Manager will drive service innovation, manage multidisciplinary teams, and foster strong partnerships across the region to support recovery-focused care.

The role of the Infant, Child & Youth Manager is:
- Provide operational and clinical leadership across ICY programs, ensuring evidence-based care and service coordination.
- Lead daily team meetings and oversee clinical governance, performance targets, and budget management.
- Promote integrated models of care and collaborate with bed-based services to support youth mental health.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and contribute to reporting for accreditation and Royal Commission requirements.
- Manage recruitment, staff development, and performance appraisals, ensuring compliance with EBA and LRH policies.
- Oversee data collection, documentation standards, and health and safety compliance across the service.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in mental health, with a focus on infant, child and youth services.
- Proven leadership and management experience in multidisciplinary settings.
- Skilled in service planning, evaluation, and clinical supervision.
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
