Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and looking to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? Join the Medical Services team at Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) as a Medical Workforce Administration Officer, where a world of opportunities awaits.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the medical workforce by coordinating recruitment and administration processes for junior and senior medical staff. Working closely with Clinical Directors, medical practitioners and the Medical Workforce Unit, you will help ensure smooth operations that directly contribute to the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care. This is a full-time fixed term position for 12 months from commencement.

 

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and process payroll, contracts, rosters, and compliance requirements for medical staff.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding accommodation, visas and provider registrations.
  • Support orientation and ongoing education activities for junior and senior medical staff.
  • Maintain accurate databases, records and documentation to support medical workforce functions.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

 

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • The capacity to work independently while contributing to a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sound problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in administration is essential; HR or payroll experience will be highly regarded.
