Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our Cardiac Cath Lab Department. This position is on an ongoing, part time basis of 64 hours per fortnight.
The Nurse Unit Manager will ensure that the service delivered, within a multidisciplinary environment reflects current best practice and is of the highest standard. The care delivered must be patient-centred and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
The NUM is responsible for all areas of the operational performance of the Department, including managing budget and Key Performance Indicators as determined by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the LRH Executive.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification/postgraduate qualification.
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead a team.
- Sound clinical knowledge, skills and a minimum of five (5) years clinical experience.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary service delivery framework.
- Commitment to ongoing professional training and development.
- Evidence of recent professional development is desirable.
