Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) currently has Nurse Unit Manager (Theatre) position available to join our growing team on a full-time basis, ongoing.

 

The key responsibilities of the Nurse Unit Manager (Theatre) are to ensure that the service delivered, within a multidisciplinary environment reflects current best practice and is of the highest standard. The care delivered must be patient centred and delivered in an efficient and effective manner. The NUM is responsible for all areas of the operational performance of the department including managing budget and key performance indicators as determined by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) executive.

 

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as Registered Nurse.
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing/Management
  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Sound clinical knowledge, skills and a minimum of 5 years clinical experience
