Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Occupational Therapist (Grade 1) to join our growing team on a full-time or part time basis ongoing basis.
The Occupational Therapist (Grade 1) provides high-quality, client-centred occupational therapy services to patients and clients of LRH and contracted services. The role delivers effective and evidence-based assessment and intervention within an interdisciplinary team, while support best-practice service delivery and contributing to quality improvement activities.

The role of the Occupational Therapist (Grade 1) is to:
- Provide effective, best-practice occupational therapy services as part of a client-centred interdisciplinary team, including consultation with families, caregivers and healthcare staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, attend relevant clinical meetings and comply with departmental and LRH documentation standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities, including participation in NSQHS-aligned programs, policy and protocol development, and service improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to safe work practices, equipment protocols, infection control and emergency procedures.
- Participate in supervision and support processes, including supervising work-experience students, contributing to student placement and working with Allied Health Assistants.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Hold a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent), current AHPRA registration and eligibility for OT Australia membership.
- Strong theoretical knowledge and the ability to apply OT principles to a varied caseload across different ages and diagnoses.
- Excellent organisational skills, time management ability and accurate record-keeping skills.
- Ability to relate well to clients and families from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating professionalism, empathy and respect.
