Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Occupational Therapy to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) ongoing.

We are seeking passionate Occupational Therapist either Grade 1, Grade 2 or Grade 3 (Senior Clinician) to deliver high-quality, client-focused services within interdisciplinary team. The role involves providing evidence-based clinical care, supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey, and contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives. Depending on your experience, you may also lead and supervise staff, coordinate service delivery, and drive innovation in occupational therapy practice.

The role of the Occupational Therapist is (responsibilities will vary depending on grade level):

• Deliver high-standard, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage patients, families, and caregivers in care planning and communicate desired outcomes effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with organisational policies, infection control, and safety standards.
• Participate and/or lead quality improvement activities, policy development, and service delivery enhancements.
• Support professional development through supervision, mentoring, and education for students and junior staff members.
• Contribute to efficient resource management and uphold Latrobe Regional Health’s vision, values and strategic priorities.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent and current AHPRA registration.
• Eligibility for membership with Occupational Therapy Australia.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team and adapt to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
• Sound organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Compassion, empathy, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
• For senior roles: proven leadership, supervision, and mentoring experience.
