Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is currently seeking a dedicated Paediatric Registrar to join the Medical Services team on a full-time, commencing 02 February 2026 until 03 January 2027.

The key responsibilities of the Paediatric Registrar is to provide day-to-day medical care for patients under the direction of senior medical staff and also work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and high-quality patient care.  The successful applicant will support LRH's Values - Person-Centred, Respect, Integrity, Excellence and Working Together. 

The Paediatric Department is focused on providing quality care to the patients and wider community.  In Paediatrics you will be provided with many exciting opportunities and experience a broad range of clinical practices and caseloads.  You will experience more one-on-one time with supervising Consultants and also see a rich range of presentations and be provided with many educational opportunities.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

• Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
• General Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Completed and passed AMC Part 1 as a minimum (AMC Part 2 is desirable).
• Experience in basic neonatal resuscitation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member.
