Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Physiotherapist (Grade 2) to join our growing team on a full time on an ongoing basis.
The Physiotherapist (Grade 2) – Community Rehabilitation Services provides high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy with LRH’s community rehabilitation programs. This includes delivering therapy to individual clients as well as contributing to group programs such as heart and lung group, cardiac rehabilitation, hip and knee group, and stroke group. The role involves managing a clinical caseload, contributing to multidisciplinary care, and ensuring physiotherapy services meet best-practice standards.

The role of the Physiotherapist (Grade 2) is to:
- Provide high-standard, evidence-based physiotherapy services for individual community rehabilitation clients and group-based programs.
- Manage an independent clinical caseload, ensuring all assessments, treatment plans and progress documentation meet LRH standards.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, person-centred care and appropriate engagement of patients and families.
- Supervise and support Grade 1 Physiotherapists, AHAs and students, including providing direction, feedback and performance development.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, including evaluating service effectiveness, implementing evidence-based practice and participating in policy/procedure development.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- A Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration and eligibility for APA membership.
- Well-developed rehabilitation knowledge and applied clinical skills, with the ability to provide both individual and group-based physiotherapy interventions.
- Experience supervising Grade 1 Physiotherapists, AHAs and physiotherapy students, with a commitment to supporting their development.
- Excellent organisational, time-management and documentation skills, with commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
