Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Physiotherapist (Grade 2) to join our growing team on a full time (1.0EFT) fixed term basis until July 2027 (Parental leave coverage).
The Physiotherapist (Grade 2) provides and coordinates high-quality physiotherapy services to patients within designated clinical areas. This role delivers person-centred, evidence-based care while supporting service efficiency and clinical excellence. In addition to managing a clinical caseload, the position provides supervision and support to Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students, contributing to workforce development, quality improvement initiatives and the ongoing advancement of physiotherapy services within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

The role of the Physiotherapist (Grade 2) is to:
- Deliver high‑quality physiotherapy services through assessment, intervention and evaluation of patient care in line with best‑practice standards and evidence‑based guidelines.
- Manage an individual caseload while supporting multidisciplinary care coordination, including active participation in team meetings and patient goal setting.
- Coordinate physiotherapy services within a designated area, providing direction, supervision and clinical support to Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and students.
- Ensure accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation, including use of outcome measures to monitor patient progress and service effectiveness.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, including development and review of clinical practices, policies and risk management processes aligned with NSQHS standards.
- Support education and professional development through staff training, student supervision, participation in in‑services and promotion of continuous learning within the physiotherapy team.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- A Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration and eligibility for Australian Physiotherapy Association membership.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise with the ability to manage a complex caseload and deliver high‑quality physiotherapy interventions.
- Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage competing demands.
- Experience or capability in supervising and supporting junior staff, students and Allied Health Assistants.
- A commitment to evidence‑based practice, quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
