Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Project Office Program Manager to join our growing team on a full-time fixed term basis.

 

This role leads the delivery of healthcare technology and infrastructure projects across the Gippsland Health Alliance (GHA). Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this role is responsible for managing project governance, stakeholder engagement, and performance reporting in alignment with the GHA Steering Committee’s strategic objectives. You will oversee a team of project staff and ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

The role of the Project Office Program Manager is:

  • Manage and report on strategic and tactical project outcomes across GHA member agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with the Project Management Office Framework, including governance documentation and phase gateways.
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts such as charters, risk registers and status reports.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and vendor relationships to support project delivery.
  • Lead benefit realisation activities and financial reporting for governance groups and statutory bodies.
  • Support and mentor project staff, promoting professional development and a positive team culture.

 

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Project Management qualification and experience (essential)
  • Proven experience in managing large, complex technical or healthcare projects.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Experience in PMO environments and Australian healthcare settings (desirable).
